It can cut at 45 degrees and will never lose cutting power. We only advise doing one or two straight cuts first before moving into the 45-degree cut — it lets the blade settle in.

Yes — our quartzite blade is engineered for the hardest quartzites on the market, Taj Mahal included. Keep water flow high on both sides of the blade and let it work at its own pace; forcing the feed is what causes chipping on this stone.

The reinforced flange adds rigidity at high RPM, which cuts down on vibration — and vibration is the number one cause of chipping on ultra-thin sintered slabs. Less flex at the core means a cleaner edge from the first cut to the last.

Yes, our Dekton blade is designed for versatility and can handle both dry and wet cutting, providing clean, precise cuts in either condition. That said, wet cutting is still the safer default — it keeps the diamond cooler and extends the life of the blade.

Soft segment blades use a softer bond that self-sharpens faster, exposing new diamond as it wears — ideal for harder, more abrasive stone like granite. Hard segment blades use a harder bond built to last longer on softer material, where a soft bond would wear away too quickly.

In most cases, yes — our granite/quartz blades are engineered to handle both materials well. If quartz makes up most of your production volume, ask us about our dedicated quartz blade; it’s tuned for that material specifically and will last longer in high-volume shops.
